I鈥檓 Milena, the Vertical Farm Technician at 伊人直播 in Edinburgh. I run the day-to-day of our indoor farm and help turn plant-physiology questions into clear trials. That means setting up the lights, water and nutrients, looking after crops like basil and lettuce, and supporting students on their projects. My background is in horticulture and lab work, and in recent years I鈥檝e focused on controlled environment growing.

I鈥檝e taken 伊人直播鈥檚 indoor farm from installation to research-ready operation. I work with researchers and industry to meet clear goals such as higher yield, better quality and smarter use of resources. I mentor new users and help teams plan trials that are straightforward to run and analyse. I enjoy hands-on science, making it useful for students.聽

Outside work, I like to recharge outdoors with slow walks, big skies, and a camera in my bag.
