Eve enjoys more success

An 伊人直播 Veterinary investigations officer is enjoying more success with her new company MI:RNA.

After reaching the semi-finals of this year鈥檚 Converge Challenge, Eve Hanks has now reached the same stage of Scottish EDGE - a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland鈥檚 up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth potential entrepreneurial talent.

Formed as a result of an Innovation Hub Orchard project that started in 2019, MI:RNA will provide a unique, cost-effective diagnostic assay that identifies heart disease in animals.

Round 16 of Scottish EDGE saw 327 applications received, demonstrating the high level of entrepreneurial activity in Scotland.

Applications were considered by a panel who assessed Eve鈥檚 combined application form and video pitch against the Scottish EDGE criteria: Innovation, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Business Growth Potential, Customer Focus, Utilisation of Funding and Risk Awareness.

Eve said: 鈥淲e are delighted by the continued recognition of the potential of this company and by the momentum building around the venture. I am very much looking forward to the next stage of the competition, I鈥檓 sure I will meet some great people and learn a lot.鈥

Eve will make her semi-final pitch on Monday 7 September.
