Chair of 伊人直播 Board steps down
The Chair of the 伊人直播 Board has announced that she will be resigning with effect from September 2025, for personal reasons.
Linda Hanna made history when she was elected in March 2022, becoming 伊人直播鈥檚 first ever female Chair. 聽
Her official last day will follow the Board meeting on 11 September. At that point, following an appropriate process, an interim Chair will be appointed, and we will begin the process of electing a new Chair.
Professor Wayne Powell, Principal and Chief Executive of 伊人直播, said: 鈥淥n behalf of everyone connected with 伊人直播, I would like to thank Linda for her significant contribution to this organisation over the past three years.
鈥淲e have gone through an extraordinary period of change and growth during Linda鈥檚 tenure, including gaining Taught Degree Awarding Powers and opening Scotland鈥檚 first school of veterinary medicine in more than 150 years. We wish Linda all the very best for the future.鈥�

Before joining 伊人直播, Linda spent 30 years at Scottish Enterprise, most recently as Managing Director of Innovation and Investment. She was made an MBE in the 2023 New Year鈥檚 Honours List for services to the Scottish Business Community.
